I hope you’ve all enjoyed your break, it’s hard to believe it’s Term 4 already! As a reminder, as students are back at school on Monday, our first rehearsal back is Concert Band on Monday 9th October. As HSC exams will be in the hall during the first 4 weeks of Term 4, students must arrive on time to allow for as much rehearsal as possible. Students will need to leave their bags and cases out the back of the hall so that they can make a prompt exit at 8:30am out the back.

There will be no Symphonic Winds or Big Band rehearsal in Week 1 due to the auditions taking place. The first Symphonic Winds rehearsal of Term 4 will be Tuesday 17th Oct, and the first Big Band rehearsal will be Friday 20th October. Volunteers from these ensembles are welcome to attend on Tuesday 10th Oct, Thursday 12th Oct and Friday 13th Oct to assist with the music library clean up. This is an important job that needs to be done.

As I write this, there are a few spots still open. If they book out I will look at opening up more spots later in the term.

Please keep an eye on the TeamApp calendar. We have our full end of year performance for all ensembles on Thursday 14th December at Forestville RSL, as well as some other exciting performances for Chamber Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble and Concert Band.
